Ballet West...

"In 2009 Ballet West will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Ballets Russes- In the same spirit of collaboration and invitation that inspired Diaghilev at the start of the 20th century, Ballet west is reaching out to the artistic community here in Utah to see what artists have to offer in the 21st century. 

What happens to the shoes? The shoes will be auctioned off at the Ballet West Fashion Show (May 30, 2009) with all proceeds going to Ballet West. In addition the shoes will be displayed at various Ballet West events preceding the fashion show."

Terzian Galleries Small Works Opening

Fun was had by all... Terzian Galleries "Small Original Works Opening" in Park City on Friday night. Thanks to all. Terzian Galleries are opened 7 days a week, call for hours 435-649-4927.

Well here is the some of the crew taking a break from (the inspiring) Bob Leatherbarrow glass workshop. A big thanks to the Glass Guild of Utah and Cheryl Deis for organizing such a fabulous educator and of course Thanks to Bullseye Glass Company for the glass donation. 

The workshop was plentiful in new techniques and loads of information everything from basic kilnforming skills to how to present your artwork and photographing art. I would recommend Bob's workshop to anyone interested in glass, he keeps the class involved with one another and all skill levels. Thanks Bob for your generosity.

Next Gallery opening is at Terzian Galleries in Park City on Friday November 28th in conjunction with Gallery Stroll. I can't think of a better way to spend the day after Thanksgiving...

Holiday Boutique

Here is an image of the Holiday Boutique last weekend. Thanks to everyone who attended and participated. And a HUGE thanks to Natalie for hosting the event at her beautiful home. 

I met this wonderful photographer Jessi Stringham who was kind enough to supply me with some images.  (I forgot my camera) Click her name to view her website. I know I am in need of some fabulous photos of my family.

The next event is TOMORROW at Images Hair Studio  Holiday Open House. Saturday Nov. 15 starting 5 pm to 9 pm. 2627 East Parley's Way. There will be many gift items available to purchase and 20% off purchases made from the salon. And Refreshments.
