I received notification today that my piece entitled "DNA" has been accepted as a finalist in the category of Glass. They received nearly 1,000 entries this year, and it is truly an honor to be selected. The Award winners will be announced on February 12th in Philadelphia.
"Exhale Sculptures"

Salt Lake City Arts Council/Art Barn Opening.

“EXHALE” What does this mean to you? A release of sorts, letting go?

This exhibit will explore the ideas of EXHALE in a sculptural glass form. I will be using textures and symbols, within and on the surface of glass, to depict my definition of EXHALE.

Inspired Jewelry Line

New Inspired Line. These are small adornment sculptures that have airy movement similar to a mobile. This line of jewelry is entitled "INSPIRED" as I have used discarded sterling silver wire or 14k gold filled wire, glass and a torch in order to create renewed pieces of art. Designed, fabricated and handmade by me in my studio in Salt Lake City, Utah. These small sculptures are made to order.

You may make a custom order from my website: Reflective Art Studio

Utah Arts Council Fine Crafts & Photography

This year the Utah Arts Council had 184 artists submit 316 pieces of artwork. The jurors, Pete Grady and Regina Benson, were pleased and impressed with the quality of work Utah artists are creating. They chose 73 pieces by 63 artists for Utah's Crafts and Photography.

The Utah Arts Council has chosen two of my sculptures to be exhibited in the show. I would love to see you at the opening at Rio Gallery on Oct. 16 6pm-9pm during Gallery Stroll.
