I have been notified by Salt Lake City Arts Council that I was granted Artist-in-the-Classroom and it is funded. What this means is that I will be able to teach Glass Art to the students who attend Salt Lake Center for Science Education "Artist-in-the-Classroom" program. I believe that Art and Science go hand in hand and that our future scientists will need the skills to think creativity with problem solving and critical thinking. I am looking forward to sharing my talents with these young people and will enjoy every minute of it.
