I need to boast about a Utah photographer that recently helped me with images and banners for the American Craft Council Show in San Francisco this last week.

Chris Blackburn has the skills to create emotion with each image, regardless of the subject matter. He is excellent with product imaging, weddings, portraits and art. Chris Blackburn Photography uses a slogan "Photos are not taken - they are created"

Here is a some insight about Chris Blackburn Photography. A husband and wife team who loves art and family, they are inspired everyday by the families they interact with. Their two boys are the driving force behind everything they do. They are modern photography experts. Style, simplicity, and quality come with the package. They recognize the power of great photography and hope that clients come to them to create art, not just to document their family or wedding.

Uintah Basin Applied Technology Award

President Paul Hacking of Uintah Basin Applied Technology College through Utah Arts Council commissioned me to create a dedication award for the donors of the new Vernal Building Dedication.

Thank you for the opportunity to contribute my talents.

I also would like to share the quote that is on the award. I found this moving.

The true division of humanity is between those who live in light and those who live in darkness. Our aim must be to diminish the number of the latter and increase the number of the former... That is why we demand education and knowledge. -Victor Hugo
